What is ResNet?

ResNet is the Seneca College Residential Network. It provides in-room wired connectivity to Seneca College's network and the Internet.


What is required for access?

You can use either a laptop or desktop with a network card (NIC). Also, you need a straight-through (RJ45) network cable. Read more.


How much will it cost?

The ResNet service is free for Seneca College students staying at the two College Residences.


How do you connect to ResNet?

Use the self-registration system from your Residence room to register your computer with the Seneca College Residence Network (ResNet). If you are not a Seneca student, please complete the Residence Network Activation Request Form. Submit it with current photo identification to the Residence manager. Read more.


What Operating Systems are supported in ResNet?

Windows 7/Vista/XP/2000 and MAC OS X (Tiger) are supported operating systems. Bring your operating system CD if you need us to assist you with getting connected. Read more.
